“Political Topics and Essays, Part Forty-Two: We close out the Week by going after Kathleen Sibelius and her Boss, Barack Obama, then talk about the Flying Burrito Brothers who start today!” by Chef Lilah Paulikovich

--> --> --> ------------------------------
We begin offering CDs today by the one-and-only Flying Burrito Brothers!  The band formed back in 1969 when some of the Byrds broke away from the main band and then in conjunction with some top studio musicians performed an experiment in COUNTRY ROCK! It went well, they became famous, and this, their first album, made them country-rock stars: “The Gilded Palace of Sin” (1969) so use the link above and buy it—you will be glad you did! In addition, we are also promoting the book, “A Concise Guide to the Ideas and Influence of the Free Market Economist” by Milton Friedman, which came out in 2011! Use the link above to buy the album, then go to the other link, and buy the book!

Defund Obamacare NOW!
Bakersfield, CA, 02-23-2014 Sunday: Welcome to the Sunday edition of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, the place where the culinary arts meet the politics of the nation!  Last week, we heard that more than 55-percent of the American people do NOT want Obamacare and that had they known how bad this mess was going to be, no one would ever have voted for the thing!  When the architect of the law went to the White House 18 separate times, one would think that the rollout of Obamacare would have been near-perfect when it fact, it imploded upon arrival.  The director should have lost her job within the first week followed by everyone else connected to it and yet, NO one has paid the price, ALL of them still sit around the president’s table, discussing how they can continue buggering the American people!
Director of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sibelius
In the world of professional foodservice, an executive or master chef is at the top of the hierarchy and below him are the executive sous chef followed by the sous chefs for each department or shift.  Below them are still other positions, from the bakery to the line cooks to the meat-and-fishmongers to the cleanup-dish-and-pot washers, all under the control of the head chef.  Each group reports to its immediate supervisor who then reports to the executive sous chef who then reports to the top chef followed by the food and beverage manager and the overall manager of the entire operation.  If the upper levels delegate jobs to their underlings, it is up to these underlings to carry out their orders following the template set by management.  If these people fail in their tasks without bringing in their higher-ups, the penalty for failure is first being written up (which we call, building the book) and eventually—if they do not fix the problems or continue to fail—they lose their jobs.  This is life, this is how it is, the world of professional foodservice is a result-driven industry and the price for failure or inability is either being reduced in rank or kicked to the street.  This is what it is and it’s the time-honored tradition of being either a success or a loser.
Department of Health and Human Services
When we look at the present administration, where are the results? First, the results are usually failures or half-assed and whenever anyone fails outright as has Kathleen Sibelius, she still sits at the table of power with the big guy.  Like the head of the Internal Revenue Service, they find themselves quietly reassigned and when anyone asks about it, you know, WHY not President Obama fired this worthless woman, they get an answer that is mostly a slap in the face of the person who asked it.  I realize many people want to extend the president some manner of respect but how many times do you need to be slapped across your face before you realize that these people are screwing with you?  Barack Obama is NEVER going to fire anyone although as I said a few days ago, we hear that Attorney General Eric Holder is going to step down later in the year, probably due to the ongoing investigation into his corruption and failure to do his duty under the review of Congressman Darryl Issa of California.  At some point, heads need to begin rolling and it should lead all the way to the top, right to the president’s desk!  The president needs to be fired by the American people and it is my hope that when the GOP takes the Senate over by big numbers in November, that impeachment proceedings against Barack Obama immediately commence.
Congressman Darryl Issa of California, Republican
I know the word, “impeachment,” scares some people and that many think that because the president is the nation’s first minority, it will never happen.  While I understand the fear of some on our side, all I can say is that if we do not at least bring it up, what are we going to do when the next dictator comes along and is worse than this one.  Heck, we still have a couple of years to go with this one and I suspect that he may not want to step down when his time is up, all he has to do is to issue an executive order giving him another four years in office, what will we do then? e

President Barack Obama
Well, there is no doubt the U.S. is in dire straits at the moment, we see it every day when the president sends campaign donors to the Senate for confirmation to be the ambassador to various countries around the world.  Not one of them has any knowledge of the places to which, the president seeks to appoint them, much less actual experience of having visited these countries, which is an insult to their destinations.  To me, this is yet another slap across the faces of our fellow nations because Barack Obama is all about insulting both our citizens and those of our European family and friends.  I mean, if Russia sent a hog farmer to be the ambassador to the U.S. that would be an outrage, maybe enough to terminate diplomatic relations.  What a world is it in which, we live, this man needs to go, we would be in better condition if Joe Biden were the president—at least we know he is an American who believes in this nation and not an upstart outsider!
Vice President Joe Biden
Finally, we learned last week that 71-percent of Americans want to see someone investigate the Internal Revenue Service because as of now, we have not seen a politicized IRS ever before although Richard  M. Nixon threatened to use it against his enemies but never did.  We now have a president who has no problems dispatching his flying monkey investigators to get into the business of every American.  Yet, while sitting with Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly prior to the Super Bowl, the president said there’s “Not a smidgen of corruption in the IRS.”  Who believes that load of crap, when the majority of the American people want to see the most-hated agency in the American government torn apart and taken down, that should tell you how the REAL citizens of this country feel.  It is time to bring in the IRS and to smack it down and reinvent it for the benefit of all Americans.  We cannot have a rogue agency going after the American people, we need one that obeys and respects the laws of the land.
The Fox News Channel
That is going to do it for today, I have had a lovely time visiting Bakersfield, California, this time around but there is no place like home.  Living above the clouds high up on Haleakala is like living in heaven, it is a wonderful place in which, to live and to enjoy life.  Granted, more and more outsiders are moving to my homeland and some bring their problems with them.  Crime goes up in certain places and that means, we need to exercise more control over who comes here but for those who truly seek to live in a heavenly place, this is it, come and visit me one day, you will love our delightful little piece of heaven!  The aloha spirit is alive and well and it’s waiting for you!

POWERS OF THE NIGHT/UPROOTED
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
THE GRASS ROOTS ANTHOLOGY 1965-1975
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
LIVE AT LAST
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
SYMPHONIC HITS
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-834-5185; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
LIVE GOLD
Today is the first day of the Flying Burrito Brothers, this band made it possible for the Eagles to form and to achieve the success they did, never forget that.  Yet, some people do not have any knowledge whatsoever of the Flying Burritos and that is why it is important that you get in on the ground floor and begin buying each of their CDs we promote every day!  There will be twelve or so days of them and then we move into another band most of you thought we would never push and that is the Sons of Champlin, the final Bay Area band to come out of the late 1960’s and to achieve cult status!  Leave your comments, become a follower, and most of all, join us every day!  I will see you next time, have a lovely next 5-6 months and in November, VOTE for anti-Democrats but for people who can get themselves elected and not a bunch of losers!  God bless and take care!
GILDED PALACE OF SIN
Stinkbug’s Closing:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by the Flying Burrito Brothers, the Grass Roots,  the Doors,  Moby Grape, and everyone else we have advertised and/or buy a cookbook from Amazon.com—we want to make some money here so help us out by buying something!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
