“Political Topics and Essays, Part Fifteen: Itzi comes in and discusses her Hopes that the Seattle Seahawks will destroy the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII and then defends President Obama and his Allies in Hawaii!” by Chef Itzi Nakamura

1,1063rd BLOGPOST AT THE AICP-END!
The Seattle Seahawks
Bakersfield, CA, 01-27-2014 Monday: Aloha and welcome to the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, this is the place where we do everything from talk shop to politics to sports to state and local issues.  It was not too long ago since I was here last but with the refurbished rotation, here I am again!  We have updated and reworked the AICP-END rotation in order to make it so we have different political views every single week and not one group for months at a time and then the other so that is why I am here again, my friends!  It is indeed an honor to be your host once again and I must say, I am looking forward to the upcoming Super Bowl because if you know anything about Hawaii, about 99-percent of us LOVE west coast football teams!  We have San Diego Chargers fans, we have San Francisco 49er’s fans, we have Oakland Raiders fans and yes, we have Seattle Seahawks fans, of which, I proudly am one!   We love the Seahawks in my family and we were so proud to see them destroy the 49er’s because like it or not, they have an asshole for a coach.  Looking at Coach Harbaugh on the sidelines, his face all purple and blue when things don’t go his way is enough to make a person want to lose their poi all over the place.   I hate to see a crybaby in professional sports but that man calls for more penalty flags—and many times gets them because of his unsportsmanlike action on the sidelines!—to make games go in his favor.  He should be ashamed and I am glad that Michael Crabtree could not catch the ball, it shows how poorly their team plays, even with many stars on it!
The San Francisco 49ers
We enjoyed yesterday’s Pro Bowl in Honolulu, it’s always a great time to watch the NFL close up in one’s home state, which sadly does not happen but once a year.  We were all devastated a few years back when they decided to hold the all-star game somewhere else because the people of Hawaii LOVE having the stars descend on our beautiful city of Honolulu because it is one great week not only for us but for the players and coaches, too.  I’m only sad that they do not do it as they did in the ‘old days’ when it was the week following the Super Bowl and not the week prior to it.  That way, we had an opportunity to see all of the players who appeared in the Super Bowl, too, and who made it to Pro Bowl, too.  We do feel robbed but it is our hope that maybe one day, we will have the opportunity to have a professional football team here, too.  Are you listening to me, Commissioner Roger Goodell?
49ers' Coach Jim Harbaugh—a BIG Crybaby!
Okay, we are in the mode of politics and as I am a loyal lifelong Democrat, I must say that I do not believe the accusations that the president’s enemies on the Republican side throw at him have any validity.  I mean, how could these people say these things, he reassured us during his first electoral campaign that he would never lie to us and that he would always tell us the truth.  The fact that now, thanks to Snowden and his exposure of the National Security Administration’s spy program, it looks like President Obama is the one who has done this and let me tell you, of course, he didn’t do this—rogue agents within the organization have done this to make the president look bad!  There, plain and simple, the president never lied to you, me, or anyone else in this country, it is his enemies and those of his administration that seek to cover this man with whatever they can in an effort to bring him down and make him look bad.  We love him here in the islands and no one should ever have any doubt about that, he was after all, born here as he has always said he was.  I find it so irritating that many seek to bring him down, it’s truly pathetic to think that his enemies’ motivation is one of racism.  Here in Hawaii, racism is very minimal, especially now that we have more people coming from the mainland now so than ever to settle here among us.  We open our arms to everyone, no matter their skin color or their political affiliation so aloha, join us and become one of us!
Governor Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii
Currently, our Governor Neil Abercrombie is up for reelection, he is fighting for his second term in office.  It is not quite clear at this time if another Democrat is going to challenge him in the primary but it’s always a possibility.  Meanwhile, one Republican, State Senator James “Duke” Aiona—a man who was also lieutenant governor back in 2002 to 2010 and who has many followers—is going to challenge Abercrombie.  I think the governor has done a good job and that he most likely will pull through no matter how much the opposition dogs him.  If there is one thing about my state, it is pretty solid red and with very little blue at its outer edges.  We have had a proud history of having Republicans and Democrats in some of the highest state offices but now, with the ongoing assault on the President and those around him, we are becoming a deeper, more beautiful BLUE and there is no doubt that we will not clean their clocks!
Possible Challenger of Governor Abercrombie: Former Representative Charles Djou
The other thing that we will probably discuss is the remarks President Obama made about WHY his opponents do not like him and that is because of his race.  You see, many of us who come from mixed families (which over here is almost everyone!) deeply resents the fact that race has a lot to do with why the opposition has sought to destroy the president at virtually every level.  We do not look at skin color as a means of either being given extra chances, i.e., equal opportunity, or for those that do not agree with us doing so because of our race.  Race should never have a thing to do with, well, anything, and it is my hope that we can at some point move beyond this.  The Civil War should have laid all of this to rest on the mainland while here, we all live in one big melting pot of humanity and it seems to work well.  Sure, we have some who feel they deserve more than others do but in the end, we do best when we all work together for the same thing.  We will discuss more of this tomorrow!
President Barack Obama: First Mixed-Race President and a man who deserves the Nation’s Respect!

As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
LIVE CREAM VOLUME TWO
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
HEAVY CREAM
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
CREAM OFF THE TOP
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-834-5185; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
STRANGE BREW-THE VERY BEST OF CREAM
My friends, I am so excited that currently, we are promoting the music of Cream, one of the all-time great super groups of rock and roll history! Here in Hawaii, we love all types of music, whether it’s Don Ho, reggae music, country and western, and of course hard rock.  We feature a wide variety of different musical styles and every weekend, live music is part of the scene.  I hope that you will take a look at these fine albums and that you will pick some up using the links posted at my blogs so I receive credit for them and earn some income for the blog! One of the things we do here is to share in the ‘wealth’ the blog generates but we also get points for the number of units sold during our time in the Stinkbug chair.  This has the potential to give us extended time away from the blog as well as a great vacation package as one of the perks for being the host to generate the most hits over their time at the corporate offices.  Therefore, I urge all of you to please, help me by buying the CDs and books we advertise here as if you do, I may be the winner for the first time in the blog’s history!  Aloha, my friends, I will see you all tomorrow!  Bye!
THE VERY BEST OF CREAM
Stinkbug’s Closing:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Cream, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Jimi Hendrix, the Steve Miller Band, Hot Tuna, and everyone else we have advertised and/or buy a cookbook from Amazon.com—we want to make some money here so help us out by buying something!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
Thank you!
