“Political Topics and Essays, Part One: We begin a Weeklong Political Discussion as Chef Hector discusses Illegal Alien, California Lawyer, Sergio Garcia—NOT a Good Thing in Chef Hector’s Eyes!” by Hector Santanamos

--> --> --> ---------------------------------
We continue offering CDs by the Jimi Hendrix Experience with his next Cd being the twentieth of his posthumous releases, entitled, “Valleys of Neptune,” which hit the record stores in 2011!  This would have been the follow-up to the Experience’s “Electric Ladyland” recording but of course, never made it to fruition.   We also would like to point you in the direction of a great book by conservative author, Harry Stein, “Why We don’t Honestly talk about Race,” (2013), a great book if ever there was one! Use the link above and buy it now! You will be glad you did!

“Political Topics and Essays, Part One: We begin a Week-long Political Discussion as Chef Hector discusses Illegal Alien, California Lawyer, Sergio Garcia—NOT a Good Thing in Chef Hector’s Eyes!” by Hector Santanamos

1,1049th BLOGPOST AT THE AICP-END!
Jimi Hendrix
Bakersfield, CA, 01-13-2014 Monday: Greetings, my friends, we have not been with one another since May of last year.  At the time, we were in  the process of finishing the music of Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention and entering the domain of the 13th Floor Elevators, both venerable bands indeed.  Now, we are in the midst of doing Jimi Hendrix with or without the Experience and/or Band of Gypsys and will soon be moving into the greatest super group of all time, Cream.  I love discussing music, it is one of those universal topics that seems to interest everyone and that is fun because it provides us a diversion from the politics of the day, some of which can be painfully difficult to discuss.   As most of you know, we have more or less reconstructed our lineup so that we do not overload the reader with one political philosophy over another for weeks on end and then bludgeon you with another.  I must say, “Hats off to the management of the blog, they are doing their best to make things as equal as possible!”  We do want to be welcoming to ALL political thoughts, no matter if we consider them to be normal or insane, we want all to feel welcome here.  As Moses Scharbug said last week, we are searching for a Muslim chef and a Gay one so we can cover all topics with multiple insights.  If you know of someone who fits the bill, please have him or her get in touch with the management by emailing or snail mailing the information to us and we will get in touch with him or her!
Governor Jerry Brown of California
As most of you know, I am an old-style Chicano Democrat, meaning that I do not follow ALL of what the modern-day Democrat Party is doing as I find much of what the Obama Administration and the government in Sacramento, California, is doing.  We heard over a week ago that thanks to a law signed into effect by Governor Jerry Brown, illegal aliens could now practice law in the state of CaliforniaSergio Garcia, an illegal alien WITHOUT a green card now has the right to be a lawyer in the Golden State.  While this seems like a major win for those seeking to open the southern border, to me, it is a shocking thing!  Could an American lacking Mexican citizenship practice law in Mexico?  Of course not, that individual would first spend time in a Mexican prison and then be deported back to the U.S.  What’s more, Americans cannot own land in Mexico unless a Mexican citizen is on the deed as a co-owner and NO foreigners can own land on any of Mexico’s coastlines.  Why then, did California give Mr. Garcia, an illegal alien who was brought to California by his parents when he was but a waif a law license?  I say it’s because in 2016, Governor Brown is going to challenge Hillary Clinton for the Democrat Party’s presidential nomination.  That is why Governor Brown has been passing illegal alien-friendly laws because unlike his earlier runs way back when he was the governor of the state the first time, he did not have major backing.  Now, however, with the illegal aliens on his side (and hopefully, many Chicanos, too), he can mount a major challenge and maybe shove Mrs. Clinton aside once again!
Illegal Alien ‘Lawyer’ Sergio Garcia—NOT a Good Thing!
States must work hard at maintaining their independence from the federal government and it’s clear that those in league with the administration’s goals get along fine.  However, the thing I see that is such a shameful display of arrogance is the fact that states such as Arizona and Georgia which have attempted to enforce immigration laws that the feds seem unwilling to do have been met with the full force and power of the Justice Department while the shenanigans going on in California have been overlooked.  At some point, the Democrat Party, MY party, is no longer going to hold the power it now has and the payback the Republicans are going to dish out is going to make many of us wish we had never gone down this road.  I see rumblings of unhappiness among the blacks of this nation who still are in precarious economic situations while all of the attention goes to the illegal immigrant community.  What is it going to take to cause the blacks to break away from the progressives and drive them back to the GOP?  What will it take to drive the Chicanos away from the Democrats and to the Republicans for the first time?  Nothing remains the same forever, at some point, if you continue playing the politics of division and compartmentalization, people are going to become frustrated and like Yugoslavia, things will begin to splinter and to fall apart.  That is the future I see for my party if it does not wise up and begin enforcing the laws that make America the nation it once was and should still be, not this hodgepodge of different groups, who are at the throats of one another.
The Flag of Yugoslavia
I think that Sergio Garcia is but a first step in the road of reuniting California and the Southwest with Mexico as I believe the Globalists in both parties are alive and well.  I am sensitive on this subject as I grew up in a household of Latinos in which, the older members had relatives who went back deep in Mexico.  There has been a lot of animosity over the years about what happened between our two nations and some still feel it is their right to reunite what Mexico lost with what it still has now.  I look at what is taking place in modern-day Mexico and I wonder, “Who in hell wants US to be like them, what with their incessant and violent drug war, their murder rate, the brutality that seems to be a way of life and of course, the rampant criminality among those in positions of power within the government and without it.”  That is not for the United States and we need to somehow find our way back to what we once were, a grand nation that offered hope to many and allowed almost all to come here in an orderly, manageable way.
The Flag of Mexico
I will ask you please not to throw me out of the Democrat Party as it is a party worth saving and promoting.  I think that if we do not watch our backs and put some sort of belief in the Constitution into place, we stand to lose far more than what we have already lost.  We have wonderful ideals for all and have done many great things but if we do not come back to doing things a Constitutional way, at some point, it’s going to come back and bite us on our asses.  Everything that Barack Obama is doing and has done already will come back to haunt us, and the casualties will be many.  The Republicans are going to do very well this year and if we do not somehow come up with a good battle plan, we might lose everything.

As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
LIVE AT MONTEREY
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
LIVE ‘67/’68 PARIS/OTTAWA
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!

WEST COAST SEATTLE BOY: THE JIMI HENDRIX ANTHOLOGY
LIVE AT WOODSTOCK
I hope you have enjoyed today’s post as we are attempting a new look and a new style of blog.  Writing about food is fun but let’s face it, the best blogs are those that discuss politics in a thoughtful and educated way as opposed to slinging insults, nasty rhetoric, and negativity.  If you look at the liberal side of the equation, we have—unfortunately—many nasty blogs that do nothing but smear and insult the opposition, which to me is never the way one wins an argument.  Sure, it might be enjoyable to one who cannot stand the mindless attacks launched by the other side but at the same time, we cannot descend to the same level.  Well, let us conclude today’s post by saying that we will continue more of the same tomorrow as it is going to be a long, hard-fought political year.  Have a great day, buy some CDs, become a follower, leave comments, and most of all, do your best in life and serve your fellow man.  Adios, amigos!

Stinkbug’s Closing:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Jimi Hendrix, the Young Rascals, the Steve Miller Band, Hot Tuna, and everyone else we have advertised and/or buy a cookbook from Amazon.com—we want to make some money here so help us out by buying something!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
Muchas gracias, buen amigos!

This is a shot of me taken when I was a young cook back in the early 1960's. I served underneath a Master Chef for many years before striking out on my own. I went up the coast of the Western United States and Canada, working all the way, until I made it to Alaska.
