1,1007th BLOGPOST AT THE AICP-END!
Barack Obama—the New Breed of American Leader?
Bakersfield, CA, 12-02-2013 Monday: We have not seen one another since earlier in the year and I must say that a great deal of transformative issues have plagued the nation since last year’s election and has poisoned the political atmosphere of the nation. At the time of this writing, the Senate Democrats pulled the nuclear option out of their hats and beat the Republicans back by using a simple majority to push the president’s judicial nominees through the confirmation process.  At the center of the issue is the fact that President Obama wants to stack the courts with his creatures, those beholden to him to rule in the ways in which, he wants them to do.  The reason for this is because they fear the loss of the Senate in next year’s elections but I do not think they have anything with which to concern themselves.   We know the president is a veteran street-fighting man to borrow a term from the Rolling Stones and he will figure some sort of way by which he and his party will come out smelling like roses instead of the fecal material they are.   While everyone hopes the Republicans will somehow coalesce over this outrageous move, grow a pair, and begin to fight back, it’s clear to me and to many others, too,  that they most likely will NOT.  What’s clear to me is that if we do not begin to thin the RINOS from the herd, we will most likely be stuck with lots of collaborators who lack the will to fight.  In the end, the results of this move, one the Democrats fought against back in 2005 when the Republicans threatened it to get their judicial nominees pushed through, are going to be long-lasting, probably as bad as the aftermath of the Rolling Stones.  We all know that that conflict left scars this nation still feels and deals with until this day and this certainly is not going to make our society work together any better.
STOP Obamacare NOW!
I have the same fear that many others share around here and that is that Obama will never leave office, whether he overturns the 22nd Amendment by hook or by crook or has his wife run instead of him.  I wonder if Hillary and Bill have considered this option because to me, it is as clear the Tehachapi Mountains on a clear day here in the southern San Joaquin Valley, if I were they, I’d begin making contingencies now.  I’m sure if you were like me, you did not expect this upstart first-term senator pushing the old warhorse aside.  In many ways, I think the Clintons were as blindsided by Obama’s rapid, meteoric rise in much the same way as did George H.W. Bush, and discounted him until it was too late.  Hillary Clinton was, after all, the nominee to all concerned and it was shocking to many how quickly stalwart Democrats like Teddy Kennedy brushed her aside and embraced the blank canvass they pushed into her spot.  No one else outside this blog is discussing this possibility but word from Washington, D.C. through our back channel sources verifies this to be a distinct possibility.  Heck, I would not discount it, we have seen this man slip-and-slide through all sorts of roadblocks over the course of his short career so why would this be a stretch?  In this day and age, anything is possible and my feeling is, we should always expect the improbable much less the impossible!
The “Lion of the Senate” Teddy Kennedy
I think that the Republicans need to begin building their war chest NOW and that they need to begin running commercials around the clock instructing and educating the masses by explaining to them exactly what the president and his cronies are doing not only to the nation but to THEM.  Everything the president is doing is going to have lasting effects that are going to shape the nation for decades to come. Once you go down this road and begin breaking rules that have served this nation for more than 200 years, my friends, there is no going back or a way to fix it.  Once you go down the crooked path, the crooked path becomes common, acceptable, and everyone coming up the ranks behind those ahead of them, that is the ONLY way they will know to solve things.  I suspect that at some point, political assassination as a way of influencing or affecting the outcome of any problem will become commonplace.   Look, no one ever thought that Mexico would become the hellhole that it’s become nor would anyone have ever thought that the United States would be full of members of various drug cartels.  These things do not happen overnight; no, in fact, they take quite a bit of time to break the system down.  Once the system is broken, however, it is a long time before it is fixed—if it is ever fixed and many times, it takes major turmoil to fix it.  Trust me, it is not going to get fixed, I suspect that we are going down the road the Romans did once Caesar Augustus died, it did not take long for Nero to come, Caligula to come, and more and more depraved emperors.  I am very fearful about the future of this nation and that is why we are planning to relocate and surrender citizenship as soon as we possibly can.
Beverly Carrick—Artist Extraordinaire
ELEMENTAL NEWS OF THE DAY PAINTING INDEXBEVERLY CARRICK ARTWORKS
Last week, my alter ego began doing a week on his mother, Beverly Carrick’s artworks.  While she was alive, she was a big supporter of this blog and we thank her for it.  Recently, we updated the prices on the beverlycarrick.com website and display her paintings at the Bakersfield Art Center on 1817 Eye Street in Bakersfield, California, as we have said.  The phone number there is: 661-869-2320 and the woman to whom you speak is a woman named Tony.   We have made an effort to update the website and to update the prices so that they reflect the greatness of this awesome American artist.  I want to say, too, that those of you who call us to see if we will buy a painting BACK, you are CRAZY!  Keep the paintings for future posterity because at some point in time, those paintings will be as valuable as the French Impressionists!  Use some common sense, I realize the economy sucks, Obama is responsible, but it will come around when we vote all of these Democrats out of office and make the president a lame duck!  What goes around comes around, do not ever forget that!  Here is the continuation of the painting list from yesterday:

THE VERY BEST OF CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
TWENTY GREATEST HITS
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
THE CONCERT
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!

I am glad that we are with one another once again and I certainly hope that everyone is going to have a lovely Christmas this year.  Right now, I think that everyone should buy a Beverly Carrick original as there is nothing like the gift of fine art underneath the Christmas tree.  Beverly has a magnificent vision in which, she could see all colors of the spectrum, including the ones invisible to the eye.  She could pull the various shades, hues, and tints to create the most beautiful piece of art anyone in the world today has ever seen!  As always, we urge you to contact either the blogsite or to call the Bakersfield Art Center in downtown Bakersfield, asking for Tony!  She is ready to deal with your art needs as only she and the Danskin Gallery are he licensed carriers of Beverly Carrick artworks!  We also have unique and original pieces in our collection such as pen-and-inks, unfinished paintings and other true gems that we have locked up in offsite safe.  I will see all of you tomorrow, my friends, be sure to buy some of the CDs we offer as well as the books we promote because we offer nothing but the best.  In addition to that, please leave your comments, become followers and write me some cards and letters, too.  Have a good one, see you all tomorrow!
ROLLIN’ ON THE RIVER
MY Closing:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Vanilla Fudge, SANTANA, Love, and everyone else we have advertised and/or buy a cookbook from Amazon.com—we want to make some money here so help us out by buying something!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
Thank you!

This is me back in the 1980's when I was the sous chef of a large foodservice operation in Bakersfield, CA. I began my cooking career in the 1960's when I apprenticed underneath a great chef, Master Chef Ulysses S. Paz.  I have lived and worked in Hawaii, Washington State, Arizona, and California.  Even though I am in my late 60’s, I am still actively involved at a hotel here in Bakersfield, CA.
