DAY NUMBER 32 UNDER OBAMACARE!

“Fabulous Bakery Desserts, Part CVI: Chef talks about reclaiming the Republican Party, ridding it of RINOs, paying back the Democrats in 2014, and then shows us how to make Chocolate Sugar Cookies—wow!” by Chef B.H. “BC” Cznystekinki

1,076th BLOGPOST AT THE AICP-END!
ALL SAINTS’ DAY EDITION OF THE AICP-END!
Bakersfield, CA, 11-01-2013 Friday: This year is zipping by rather quickly and that’s good, as you see from the heading above the date up above, we have ONE year plus a few days until the next nationwide, statewide, county and city elections takes place. These elections are very important for those opposed to the Obamaism ruining the nation need to win!  I believe that we will win them, there is an atmosphere one senses in the air around them similar to what we felt back in 2010.  Back then, there was an expectant hopefulness in the air, people were mad as hell at what the fricking Democrats had just done to us by ramming the healthcare act down our throats.  Even when the liberal state of Massachusetts elected Scott Brown to take Teddy Kennedy’s seat claiming he was the “last vote needed to stop Obamacare,” the Dems still managed to have their way with us.  ‘Rid hard, put away wet,’ the people were angry, they wanted revenge and people of all political parties went to the polls in one of the greatest off-year election turnouts to STOP Obamaism in its tracks!
Former Senator Scott Brown
I think the Democrats were terrified at the results and saw their hold over the country beginning to slip away, the problem is, the Dems never stay down, just like evil, heinous movie villains, they always come back ONE MORE TIME and managed to regroup and to fight back.  They overturned what happened in 2010 by helping the Republicans select their presidential nominee in last year’s election and lo and behold, we ended up with Mitt Romney!  Now, do not get me wrong, I do not believe that Governor Romney was a bad candidate, I actually think he was quite good and that he could have won, the election had all of the discouraged Republican voters turned out to the polls.  I will be the first to admit that the nonstop onslaught on the Republicans stunned me, too, but I at least went to the polls and voted for Governor Romney.  However, many others were put off by one attack after another, the “Republican War on Women” (crap!), the man who lost his wife because the governor dumped his healthcare insurance (more crap!) and all the rest of the crap and mud the Dems and their media allies slung at us!  Yes, it gets tiresome, it makes one sick, it’s not fair but it’s what we must contend with and something we need to overcome and will in 2014!
Former Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney
You see, we now know that the Obamaists in the federal government and around the states were out in force and the Internal Revenue Service under Lois Lerner and other secretive organizations fighting to stem the tide will not be a problem this time because we EXPECT them!  I do not give a damn if the IRS gives me an anal exam, they can shine a light up there as much as they want because next year, we will transform the worst president in American history into the biggest lame duck ever seen!   We have to fight him on the land, the sea, the air, the media, the airwaves, the Internet, we must stop this bloodless coup from taking any more control and I intend on fighting with all my heart!  If I drop dead with a heart attack in the streets, then so be it but enough is enough!  We need to win every post from senate candidate, house seat, governorship, city council member, even non-political posts such as the school board or PTA, we need to win them all including the damned dog catcher!  We will win, I guarantee it, on this All Saints Day, we will beat these bastards back as the Allies did the Nazis!
Lois Lerner—when is she going to ‘answer questions?’
I think that next year, the Democrats are going to turn the heat way up because I know they feel they can do what they did to us last year next November, 2014!  The problem for them is this:  people are mad, raging mad, they remember all of the insults that little prick Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his slime-ball underlings said.  We recall the ugly terms that he and his boss, President Obama used against us, “terrorists,” “kidnappers,” “terrorists with suicide vests,” “ransom-takers,” “hostage-takers,” you name it, they said it and it made ALL of us mad!  The great thing is that I have many friends around the country and no matter whether they are Republicans, Democrats, Independents, they all are mad.  No one wants to see American politics descend to the level that the Democrats have taken it to, it’s atrocious, it’s despicable, it’s plain nasty and these filthy smucks need to have their mouths washed out with soap!  Oh, were my father still alive, he would be aghast at the things this administration and its flunkies have said, it’s horrible and it makes us look bad in the eyes of the world!
Reince Priebus—leader of the Republican Party
I also think that November 2014 is going to be a day of reckoning for all of the RINOs roaming the nation, granted, I am an easy-going man but when I get mad, I get REALLY mad and I do not forget.  I am a true elephant in that I never forget a slander or an insult thrown at me or those who I support.  I can tell you that men like Mitch McConnell, a traitor if ever there was one is going to crash and burn in a figurative way of speaking.  We know that he actively is in collusion with the Democrats and that men like John Cornyn of Texas, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Jeff Flake of Arizona, these men are all traitors to the Republican Party and need to go!  I give a lot of money to different candidates and to the Republican National Committee but I no longer believe that Reince Priebus has my or the party’s best interests at heart and no longer will be sending him checks to support issues important to us.  The man is a RINO, he acts like a Republican, he walks like a Republican but he is a big RINO and needs to get his walking papers!  We need to get a rock-solid conservative leader like Michael Reagan to become the leader of the Republican Party or we need to expel these people and throw them out of it so we can take it back and put forward a defense!  Who does NOT want to fight to these fricking Democrats, I ask you?  We need to smack them down a la Monday Night Raw and send them packing for good! Let me know what you think, we can discuss this topic and more over the next two days, otherwise, we will discuss it in 2014!
Michael Reagan—Conservative Icon
Our recipe for today is a great cookie recipe for Chocolate Sugar Cookies, amazingly delicious, one I know ALL of you is going to love and enjoy with a glass of ice-cold milk!  That is the way cookies are meant to be enjoyed, with a glass of cold milk in the comfort of our homes so when we have guests come to our place of business, whether it’s a country club, a hotel, an institution, it is important that we provide these comforts because they will never forget them!  Word of mouth is a powerful sales associate, it brings people back year-after-year and that is good for the longevity of our operation!  Here’s my recipe:
Chocolate Sugar Cookies
(#1829) CHOCOLATE SUGAR COOKIES

Torani’s Chocolate Milano Syrup
Nowadays, we take inspiration where we find it and most of the time, mine comes in the midst of the night when I am sound asleep after a grueling 16-hour day.  This is one such combination that came to me in a dream, one I believe instilled in me by the Good Lord, a worthy giver of inspiration to say the least.  While I realize many secular folks will say nasty things about me, I could care less because I have to live with myself and accept the gifts given me by the Lord just as you all should, too!
Hershey’s Cocoa Powder

Crisco butter-flavored shortening

7/8
Cup
C & H packed light brown sugar

1
Large
AA egg

3
Tablespoons
Hershey’s chocolate syrup

2
Teaspoons
Vanilla extract

1
Teaspoon

1.5/8
Cups
Packed cake flour

.125
Cup
Hershey’s cocoa powder

1
Teaspoon
Baking soda

.5
Teaspoon
Kosher salt

Superfine granulated sugar

Vanilla Extract
Method:
Wax Paper—essential for Cookie Baking
1.     Mis-en-place: have everything ready with which to work! Chef’s Note: generally, I prefer making my cookie dough the night before I plan to use it because I feel that it bakes better when it is COLD at bake time.  You can make and bake them within the same day but trust me; they come out better if you chill the dough overnight after scooping the balls and then baking it first thing in the morning.  Do NOT pay attention to the old wives’ tale that baking powder-baking soda dough’s do not do well if not baked immediately, this—simply—is NOT true.

2.     Set up your Kitchen Aid (or Hobart mixer depending upon the size of the batch) and attach the PADDLE attachment.  Add the two fats and the brown sugar and beat them at medium-high speed.

3.     After about 30-60 seconds, STOP mixing, scrape down the sides of the bowl, paddle, and then add the egg, Hershey’s syrup, and the flavorings.  Rotate the paddle slowly around the bowl then stop, resting it.

4.     Double-sift the cake flour, cocoa, the baking soda, and the salt and then add it to the mixture already in the bowl.  Begin rotating the paddle slowly around the bowl working the ingredients into homogenous dough.  Stop; scrape down both the bowl and paddle, then rotate the paddle again on low speed for another 20-30 seconds.

5.     Pull 2-3 sheets of plastic wrap or wax paper onto your work surface, then pull the dough out onto it and wrap it up tight in a ball.  Place the dough package in your refrigerator and chill for about 30-60 minutes; then, pull it out and using a #30 ice cream scoop, scoop balls of uniform size.  Take care to pack it into the scoop, then scrape off the excess and continue balling the dough.  Place them onto a pan lined with wax paper, cover it tightly with plastic wrap so that the balls do NOT pick up any adverse scents lurking within your refrigerator and refrigerate overnight.

6.     The next day, preheat your standard oven to 375º F or your convection oven to 325º F with the fan in the “off” position for now.

7.     Select 1-2 stainless steel or heavy-duty aluminum half sheet pans and line them with wax paper.  Spray the paper with PAM Baking Spray, Crisco Pan Release, or some such other food release spray.   Now, it’s time to pan the cookies but first, a quick note: on half sheet pans, we normally space the cookie balls in rows of 3 x 6.  This allows for the cookies to spread out and become somewhat firm whereas if we pan them in rows of 4 x 6, they do NOT spread out as much and remain much more moist and chewy, lasting for a day or two at room temperature.  However, you do this is up to you but pan your cookies and have them ready to go.

8.     Do NOT press or flatten the cookies, just place the pans onto the middle oven racks avoiding the uppermost in the convection oven (flip the fan “on” now) and both the bottommost and uppermost racks in a standard oven, as this is where the heat tends to concentrate the most.

9.     Baking time 3 x 6 in Standard Oven: 8-12 minutes or 4 x 6, bake them about 10-13 minutes.  Convection ovens: 3 x 6, bake about 6-8 minutes and in rows of 4 x 6, about 7-9 minutes.  NOTE: the cookies will puff up and as soon as they begin to brown around the bottom edges, pull them out and place them atop cooling racks noting that the cookies will bake another minute or two from the heat retained in the metal of the pans. Dust them immediately with superfine sugar!

10. After about 1-2 minutes, begin lifting the cookies off the pans using a spatula and transfer them directly onto the cooling racks with drip pans beneath them.  Prepare a batch of the following glaze below and then loop it over them in swirls and ribbons before serving them.  Take care to make the glaze either the day before or first thing in the morning and then keep it warm prior to serving time OR heat one cups of it about 20 seconds in your microwave oven, then use it, keeping the rest refrigerated.

11. Serve your cookies on doily-lined serving trays and if you have leftovers, seal them up airtight in Ziploc freezer bags.  Use within 2-3 days, after that, use them or lose them!
Chocolate Sugar Cookies
Below is one of the best glazes I have ever had in my culinary repertoire, it’s one I know all of you are going to love and revere just as I do.  This is more than just a glaze, it’s a fudge icing, which is perfect for not only cookies but also muffins, quickbreads, cupcakes, cakes, you name it, it’s good for it, even eating it by its decadent self!
(#1520) WHITE FUDGE ICING
This fudge icing is one that I have had in my repertoire for years and while some might not say, it is a “true fudge,” I say, “once you taste it, you will know that it is!”  Generally, I make a larger size batch, which I keep in the refrigerator for use over the course of a week or so and it is an excellent one to say the least.  Keep it handy as you are going to love it, too!
White Fudge Ingredients
Yield:  about 2-2.5 cups / Mis-en-place: 20 minutes:

Powdered Sugar
Qty.

Item
Other
1.5
Ounces
Cold water
.25-cup
.75
Ounce
Salted butter

.75

Crisco shortening

5/8
Ounce
Karo’s light corn syrup

3/16
Teaspoon
Kosher salt

.75
#
Powdered sugar
3 cups
1
Teaspoon
Vanilla extract

White Fudge Preparation
Method:
Vanilla Extract
1.    Mis-en-place: have everything ready with which to work!  Place the first FIVE ingredients into a saucepot atop medium-high flame and place the remaining items in a sanitized mixing bowl attached to your Kitchen Aid mixer. Attach the WHIP attachment.  As soon as the liquid boils, begin pouring it into the powdered sugar and vanilla all the while rotating the implement around the bowl until a thick mixture forms.

2.     Scrape down the sides of the bowl, whip, and then begin ladling the white fudge across the cookies, coating them well.  Any remaining fudge, transfer to a holding container and store in your fridge for use with additional cookies later.
Iced Chocolate Sugar Cookies
Like gravy on potatoes, icings on sweet baked goods are precisely what make them go from being average to stupendous!  This is perhaps the best recipe I have ever used for my cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and other delicious tidbits like Danishes, coffee cakes, heck, it is even good eating it by itself!
More Chocolate Sugar Cookies
Most of the time, people expect cookies to come in the way in which, their parents presented them when they were kids so many times, adult chefs do not see that there is a larger world of cookies out there.  Just like muffins, quickbreads, or anything else for that matter, there are infinite flavor combinations, varieties, ways of doing things, and just plain inspiration, almost always divinely-inspired, to say the least!  I have found the secret to success is giving credit where credit is due and that means, acknowledging a higher power! God bless and good luck!
Still More Chocolate Sugar Cookies
You know, we have had a good deal of fun this week and we still have two more days to go.  With the rotation being where it now stands, I won’t see you again until May 2014, when the electoral season begins heating up and people are fighting either to retain their office or to win new office.  I think that we are going to have a massive victory next year and that President Obama and his zombies will be weeping more tears than Jobe did! I hope to God that we smite these guys like it’s the Israelites smiting the Philistines that would be a great way for me to enter retirement by seeing the Democrats destroyed from one end of the nation to the other and Obamacare put on hold!

STRANGE BAND—THE VERY BEST OF FAMILY
Two more days, my friends, two more days!  Hey, today is the first day of the Vanilla Fudge promotion and do you know what? I saw the band at the Fillmore East back in 1969 and feel proud to have seen them!  The drummer Carmine Appice and bassist Tim Bogart have had a long and illustrious career, either with the band Cactus following the demise of the Fudge or like Mr. Appice, playing with Rod Stewart for a few years in the 1970’s before returning to the reformed Fudge!  If I can say one thing about this great band, they blew everyone else off the stage, they were SO amazingly loud, I think I was deaf for 4-5 days and that my girlfriend at the time disappeared and I never saw her again.  Boy, those were the days, nothing like they are now, life is horrible now that the far left has taken the nation over but we will discuss more on this tomorrow.  Have a great day, buy some CDs we advertise here for your listening enjoyment and by all means, please!  Leave me some comments and become a follower!  See you all tomorrow, have a great day and God bless!

Stinkbug’s Closing Paragraph:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Family/Streetwalkers, the Grateful Dead, BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD, the SANTANA, and Vanilla Fudge and/or buy a cookbook from Amazon.com—we want to make some money here so help us out by buying something!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
